But it's pretty much an excuse for him to make fun of his Russian girlfriend's accent and the stereotypes of her home country (vodka, bears, invading their neighbours), a country in which he lived for a year in 2017

Joel did his first hour, '110 Percent Jokes', at the 2024 Melbourne Comedy Festival. He's opened for Akmal Saleh, Dave O'Neil and Steve Hughes, among others. His dream is for his parents to stop suggesting ideas to put in his "little skits"
